Whether it is just relaxing, playing a round of golf, tennis, boating or exploring the wilderness there is definitely lots of choice in Muskoka and Simcoe County.
- Travel by canoe
- Husky rides
- Playing at the beach and playground at Barrie
Attractions such as the annual Barrie Kempenfelt Annual Craft Show in August, a boat cruise on Lake Simcoe, a day at Wasaga Beach or visit the shopping malls and antique stores are ready to be explored. In the evening enjoy a show at the theatre, try your luck at Casino Rama or at Georgian Downs raceway and slots.
The various resorts featured in this blog site have lots of information to help you find what you are looking for.

If you are looking to play on water toys including rock climbing walls, rocking floats, trampolines and boats some with slides then head off to Deerhurst resort. There are also land activities like biking, walking and many more.
If you like animals and having fun go to the Toronto zoo. They have cute animals, stinky animals and all your favourite ones. Enjoy the fresh air and exercise whilst walking around the zoo.
If you like to swim in lakes or sunbathe on the sand then you’ll love Barrie beach. There are some seagulls but they don’t bug you. So go to the beach soon.
If you like getting scared and having exhilirating fun go to the famous Canada Wonderland’s rollercoasters. Canada’s Wonderland is for anyone that like very fast rides and having fun. The rides are fun and they have mini games around the place, but unfortunately some rides have height restrictions so short children miss out.
If you like science then head off to the Ontario Science Centre. It’s got lots of fun exhibits and shows. I went there with my Grandad and I loved everything I saw. Whilst I was there I went to the Harry Potter exhibition and it was really amazing. So if you want to visit it too, you must hurry because it ends on the 22 August. I enjoyed spending the day with my Grandad, and he bought me a Harry Potter’s T.Shirt to remember the special day with him.
Golf is fun, but miniature golf is even better. The Cardinal Golf Club’s crazy golf is the best I have ever been to. It has eighteen really exciting and tricky holes which are really creative and fun. You don’t have to bring your own golf clubs or balls as they supply them. They gave me a special one, just for my size. You can either try out the mini golf or test your skills on the golf range.
